Sports bras get a bad rap. You might associate them with tortuous workout sessions, sweat stains, and a stinky laundry basket. But for many of us, especially if we live an active lifestyle, they’re an absolute necessity. And honestly, I don’t think they’re that bad! Why? Because when you find a sports bra that just gets it right, well, then you’ve reached bra nirvana.

For every good sports bra, however, there are even more that are not worth your time or money. Luckily, Amazon is a treasure trove when it comes to workout clothes. (The bra selection is pretty great, too.) To help guide your next purchase, I scoured Amazon to find its most well-loved and highly-reviewed options. Ahead, find 14 of the best sports bras on Amazon.

Girlfriend Collective makes some of my favorite sports bras, plus they run a fantastic recycling program for worn-out garments.

Customer review: “The fabric has such a buttery feel, it is very luxurious and is super flattering. You can tell that it is super high quality and will hold up after many washes, which for something I am wearing to workout and will sweat in, is very important.”

Size: XXS–6XL

Material: Recycled plastic bottles, spandex

Some people opt for longline bras because they can be worn alone, while others favor the additional coverage and support. Whatever your reason, this is a bestselling option.

Customer review: “I have about 10 of these bras and love them for working out or just around the house for lazy days. The long line is great for a larger chest and the shoulder straps don’t hurt. It’s about medium impact.”

Size: XS–XL

Material: Polyamide, spandex

This bra might not look like it would offer the most support, but customers swear it holds them in even doing inversion poses. Now, that’s a testimonial!

Customer review: “I love everything beyond yoga! This to doesn’t disappoint. Bought it for running but decided to try it out for some yoga practice to see if it held in the girls. And it works! Surprised that a deep v would hold but it did through all my downward-facing dogs! Super soft too.”

Size: XXS–XL

Material: Polyester, spandex

For all things athletic, you know you can trust Under Armour.

Customer review: “Underarmor is the best around for comfort and support in an accurate sized bra.”

Size: XS–3XL

Material: Polyester, elastane

This seems to be the O.G. of sports bras. I’m pretty sure I used to wear these for gym class in high school—they’re just as effective now as they were then.

Customer review: “I’ve been looking for some supportive sports bras for some time and I came across this one and thought I’d give it a try. It fits true to size and is super comfortable and supportive.”

Size: XXS–4XL

Material: Cotton

It’s a bra. It’s a top. It’s whatever you want it to be.

Size: XS–XL

Material: Nylon, spandex

If you practically live in soft bras, this trio is a great bang for your buck.

Customer review: I am now devoted to these and just purchased these. Thrilled. Comfort, support, and presents my 62-year-old bosoms quite flatteringly. No more $160 bras with bones for me. I am now a devotee. I think they even last longer than my very expensive bras.”

Size: S–L

Material: Nylon, polyester, spandex

Say goodbye to under-boob sweat. Anita makes this bra with strategic mesh paneling to promote airflow and breathability.

Customer review: “I love this bra and wear it for exercise and everyday wear. This bra was recommended by a lingerie shop because all of its clients love it. It looks great under T-shirts as long as the T-shirt is not too see through. Straps are a little wide so this won’t work with some tank tops.”

Size: 30AA–42E

Material: Polyester, polyamide, elastane, cotton

Your younger, mall-prowling self would geek out over this seamless one from Bebe.

Customer review: “It’s a wonderful sports bra and I like it so much I bought four more in different colors.”

Sizes: S–L

Material: Nylon, spandex

This Champion bra features a deep V-neck and racerback straps with a keyhole for a true bombshell look.

Customer review: “I absolutely love the fact that this bra is extremely comfortable. Overall support is moderate and although the bra is not high cut you will not have spillover. I normally wear a 36D and the XL fits perfectly. That said, if you are a D cup, I would not recommend buying this bra for running. However, it is ideal for walking, cycling, hiking, and light to moderate exercise.”

Size: XS–XXL

Material: Polyester, spandex

Whether you’re recovering, have mobility issues, or simply prefer front-closing bras, this gem is very highly regarded by customers, lingerie experts, and doctors alike.

Customer review: “These bras had the most comfortable band. You may have post surgical swelling in the belly or arms, so a band that doesn’t give was almost painful. These were the easiest to put on myself and the most comfortable to sleep in. They wash well.”

Size: M–3XL

Material: Nylon, spandex

Maximal support for all your needs. No flimsy fabrics here.

Customer review: “I’m a 44G in Torrid. Can’t find any sports bras in stores. This is so inexpensive and high quality. I ordered 3X(48) and it fits perfectly. So comfy. I wouldn’t consider it medium support but hey I’ll take what I can get, you could probably just double up and it would be enough to run.”

Size: 44–48

Material: Polyester, spandex

Matching sets, one-shoulder tops, and bike shorts are all the rage right now, so this option is a triple whammy.

Customer review: “OK truly impressed with the quality! Was not expecting it to have the amount of compression but I’m not complaining, makes me like it even more! So cute, will be getting more colors!!”

Size: S–L

Material: Nylon, polyester, spandex

This strappy number is great for a multitude of uses, like lounging around, wearing under a top as a bralette, or for low-impact workouts.

Customer review: “Easy to breastfeed in since it’s strappy. I would simply pull a cup down when I needed to feed. I don’t think it’s supportive enough if you’re doing lots of jumping exercises but definitely good enough for a lifting day.”

Size: XXS–XXL

Material: Nylon, spandex
